Smt Bhuvaneshwari was the first daughter of Prof V.T.Srinivasan who was the principal of Vijaya College in Bangalore. She married P.R.Ramaswamy, the second son of P.R.Ramaiya, a prominent journalist in 1963. She did her M.Sc in Physics in Central College in Bangalore.
